Everyone can view most formats of CAD drawing, PDF, Office and many other documents, without the need of any other software application. You can even produce mark-ups, reviews, amends which effectively become an integral part of the original document, like a different layer, available to all authorized users. Uploading a revision of an already existing document, Project|Center will detect and replace the existing version and add that note to file history. This way, you make sure that everyone is working on the same and last version of a file.

Of course, no-one is allowed in without permission and everyone is identified through an individual user ID and password. You can design a project hierarchy, which allows documents or areas of the project to be restricted to only some members, organizations, groups, etc. You can also easily and automatically track who has seen what, and what, if any, comments or changes they made, as also who has unsolved issues to handle or in which party is the project stuck on.

Initial Dashboard

This is the first screen you'll get after login Project|Center. Here you'll have an overview over all projects you're in, what's new in them, approvals waiting for your action, as well all the news about Project|Center. You can also run an immediate quick search in all projects from here, as also access to previously created reports or create new.

Flexible Folder Creation

Participants can create and name folders and subfolders for documents to help organize their projects to reflect the way they really work on a project.

Document Viewing

View over 200 commonly used document formats in a standard Web browser without having to buy applications or install plug-ins, including AutoCAD®/BitCAD DWG, Microstation® DGN, Word DOC, Excel XLS, MS Project PRJ, Adobe PDF, multiple image files as JPG, TIFF, BMP, GIF etc.

CAD Viewing and Redlining

View, print and redline AutoCAD/BitCAD DWG and MicroStation DWG drawings and their associated reference files without installing AutoCAD, MicroStation or plug-ins. Everyone can access the files without any problem.

Document History

All actions on a document such as uploading, downloading or viewing are recorded by user. This enhances accountability and allows project managers to evaluate team members' responsiveness.

Configurable Workflow Applications

Project|Center includes user configurable workflow applications such as RFIs, issue tracking, CO requests, submittals, field reports, and approvals.  By defining custom fields and approval routing, these applications increase the efficiency of the building design process and help the project manager keep track of details.

Cross-Project Reporting

Project Managers have the ability to create custom reports that gather information from one or multiple projects.  Now they’ll know how many RFIs are overdue or where an approval stands.

Project Templates

In order to maintain a consistent project delivery, Administrators have the ability to define standard project templates including folder structure, team members, security, and workflow applications.

Project Directory

All project participants' addresses, telephone numbers, email and other contact information are kept in a central location so team members can easily get in touch.

Access Rights

System administrators can specify default access rights per user (such as whether a team member is authorized to view, download or modify information), which can be further specified according to folders, applications and the directory.

Administrative Reporting

Administrators have a quick and easy overview report showing them who is working on what project and what their activity has been within it.

Fax In

Each project has a unique fax number where anybody can send information using a standard fax machine. Since the fax is stored in digital format as part of the project documentation, other team members can view the fax from their Web browsers.

Subscribe to Updates

Team members can subscribe to folders in order to be notified of changes. They can choose to be updated immediately, daily, or weekly thus avoids working on outdated information.

Document Check-in/Check-out Capabilities

Allows users to “lock” certain files, prohibiting others from making changes – while allowing them to view and download the document.

X-Ref Support

When AutoCAD files are uploaded to Project|Center the user has the ability to automatically search and upload associated X-Ref files.

Cross-Project Document Search

Keyword search feature allows users to access documents across multiple projects, by a single keyword.

File Binding

Any file uploaded to Project|Center can be associated with any other file, creating a file set. By associating files together users are able to work more efficiently by having quick and easy access to all files on a project that relate to their participation in the project.

Project Calendar

Schedule meetings using the built-in project calendar. Team members are automatically notified by email and can view the schedule in their Web browser.

TeamMail

Team members and others can easily send and receive electronic messages. The email feature is integrated with the workflow applications; so all communication is documented as part of the design process.

Security

Access to individual projects can only be achieved via individual user level username/password combinations. All logins are reported, as well as user movements within the application.

Multiple Upload

This feature is ideal for anyone looking for all the time-savings features. Project|Center allows you to upload how many documents you want at once. The same version control is made as in unique upload, so you can be sure that all your information will keep up to date and organized. Many other time-saving features are available.

Meeting Minutes

Project|Center has a Meeting Minute Application that allows project team members to create and share Meeting Minutes items from meeting to meeting. It has been designed to be very flexible to meet the many different needs of our clients.

Project|Center is available in English, French, German, Dutch, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Italian and Hebrew, allowing many project team members to work with the system in their native language.
